3 Top Reasons Why Blogs Convert to Sales

Ever blog and feel like you’re writing to yourself, and nobody is reading them? That could be true, but it also could be very wrong.

Blogging is a way to communicate your thoughts, ideas, and in our case online business services and products.

If your blogs aren’t getting site traffic, readers, or viewers, more than likely it’s because your website has problems, or is not optimized for google spiders (SEO), or maybe it’s because you’re not blogging!

Here are 3 top reasons why blogs can convert to sales.

  1. Blog about your products and services.  When you blog about your products and services, you let customers and potential customers know exactly what you do or sell.  For example, right now I’m blogging about how blogs convert to sales, and the reason why is because I’m promoting my digital marketing, SEO, and virtual assistant services.
  2. When blogging consistently, it allows customers to get to know you.   In sales, the single most important skill to have is the “LIKE YOU” skill and in today’s digital online business world, it’s a million times harder to get people to like you online then it is when you’re face to face.
  3. Blogging also allows people to trust you.  If you blog about what you do, it becomes clear that you know what you’re talking about, and that you are an expert at what you do, and even can become an authority figure within your industry.  When I shop online, I look for the About Us tab and the blog tab so that I can kind of get to know who I’m about to buy from. If I don’t see anything about the owners, the people, a backstory, or anything that allow me to build a sense of trust, there’s no way I’m going to enter my credit card number on to that website and buy from them.
